would you mind telling us who this is so we don't deal with them? if so could you message me there name so i don't have this happening to me. But yea looks like this person had no common sense whatsoever! im suprised there even in in a styro! i bet if that seller could they would ship the fish in a plastic bag with the label taped to it.

Sorry to hear that boss, that's crazy I had my dude for awhile !

The box looks a little beat up so I'll say between that and the delay, its the transporters fault.

as far as the cuts in the plastic that was from me trying to hurry and open it up to see if I could save anything

as for the box, soak some cardboard in water and see what happens to it - nothing to do with the carrier

I'm going with the "shipper" / seller?. Just because there was an unexpected delay does not excuse poor packages. If the fish were properly packaged and then the delay came along, then the mail carrier would be at fault IHO.

Dude, you told me it was bad but I had no idea it was this bad. That is disgusting. But it doesn't look like a 5yr old packed it, it looks like a mentally retarded monkey packed it. And no padding in between the bags? No wonder they all leaked. Can you imagine the fish being sloshed around everytime the box was moved or tossed?

If this had been packaged right, they could have been at least given a fighting chance to survive. These fish had no hope, thanks to the piss-poor packaging job. I wouldn't even pack fish like that for a short road trip, let alone flying across the country.

That vendor should be ashamed of himself.

Vendor could have easily included a rigid styrofoam insert that would have protected the livestock. I buy Turduckens for xmas, superbowl etc and they come in a very sturdy styro container that could have held up to this treatment.
JMHO

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL: crackin me up bro, 1 good way to get over it laugh it off

In all honesty, I had something similar happen. Fish were bagged and shipped. I know the fish were bagged and packaged appropriately because i saw it for myself and would never doubt the shipper as I know him personally. One of the bags must have either had a hole poked by a fish or just plain leaked. From there, the water demolished the box, and as the shipping company moved the box, the rest of the fish bounced around. In the end, all the bags ended up looking exactly like yours, no water and no air.

Moral of the story, it is not always the sellers fault. Sometimes, Murphy's Law just kicks in.

All of my shipments from that shipper have made it fine in all weather(even with delays)I blame the carrier, looking at the pics it looks like they were packed wrong but i know the person that packed the box and that does not look like any shipping job i have ever seen him pack,in my opinion i think the pics were made to look as bad as possible as to blame the person packing the shipment, just because fedex will not take the blame for poor packaging handling. You cant jump to conclusions by the pictures until you know the whole story. just my opinion.
