Why All The Threads About Eating Your Fish!!

Personally, I know people that have tank raised talapia for the sole purpose of raising them to eat. I guess if you see it as a pet and eat it, you are messed up..if you see it as food you are raising, your choice and I see that side too.
I think it's simple. If you don't like the idea of eating your fish then don't do it. If you don't want to read about other people eating their fish then don't click on the thread. Problem solved.

dont rally see the point in creatting a thread just to get a reaction out of someone :S
its just a subject that shouldnt be spoken about on this particular forum imo, you wouldnt go on a car forum and start talking about something totally different
and buying a fish you cant look after for life is not irresponsible?
Sure I agree with not releasing them to the wild or breeding them to eat but if you cant house the fish for life why did you get in the first place? a fish has to die because some silly head brought it when they cant afford to keep it..... if you cant keep it dont buy it pretty simple. you can just watch them on youtube.

yeah but you should not keep the fish if you cant house it.... I dont know why people buy fish they cant keep. same with people who buy dogs and never walk them pisses me off.
