naw its like posting about useing car parts for a boat... while the idea of eating my pets makes me gag... i am an avid fisherwoman, i catch and clean my own fish. i see nothing wrong with this, nore do i see anything wrong with hunting. everyone has their quirks... trophy hunters tick me off in both "sports" .. killing an animal just for a peice of it is a waste... utilizing as much as possible is fine. but i can understand how some would be against it.
very true you should always buy a fish knowing that you can house it for the duration of its whole life, think i mentioned this earlier in the thread
this thread is really cool. much more discussion. Im sorry if i offend people by eating fish that we love so much.
But i do think this topic belongs in the community. We all love fish. i think it just shows itself in different ways, some are fisherman to eat some for sport. some breed for money some for the joy of it. stone Keep as decoration some as a best friend. and i guess i dont see an issue with eating a fish that i've raised to enjoy. its monster fish keeping. were here for the Fish.

When I read your thread, I kept an open mind and humor. but the more you say, the stranger things are getting.
Originally you were all about rtc's being impossible to keep forever, so they gotta go- one way or another.

Later you ratchet it up to- maybe you'll eat the oscar that your dad gave to you, and didn't respond to just one ethical question I mentioned about that.

I ment some as a best friend. I guess simply put my view is I don't think it's wrong to eat any fish. Some I personally couldn't cause I'm attached to it, others Not an issue. So if I'm curious to try a type of fish I'll eat it. Or if it's the only rational way to keep rtc and I wanna keep them cause they are fun to keep Then that's what I'll do. I don't do it to spite people. And won't go eat another persons fish. I'll keep a fish to enjoy it cause I want to. And eat one for the same reason.
This is a hobby tropical fish forum. Lets keep it that way. There are a lot of boring cooking forums. If you are into cooking then log onto there.
