Why Are Glasses So Expensive?

Just curious as to why you feel this way about the operation?....Sumo,I paid fifteen hundred total.

I just play it safe even though the operation failure rate is very small nowadays. No one can touch my eyeballs! Plus, I don't really see big advantages for me now to get rid of the glasses after wearing them for so long that it's like putting on my wrist watch. I used to complain about not able to play soccer, but then I switched to tennis. However I still like swimming, and just lost a pair of rx sunglasses to a surprise big wave at Virginia beach over the summer...may want to look into a pair of rx goggles for that.

Thanks for taking the time to post an answer.

This pretty much how Ive felt for a long time, but I really would like to correct my vision now, I also like to swim, and it sucks being blind in the water.

Go for it!...My only complaint is it is a little cheaper now than when I had it done years ago.

LOL,I think I went to work the next day...Post op I was advised to have someone drive me home, and I did,but it went well and I felt well enough to drive myself.
