Why does my tank smell soooo bad???

this might also be a dumb question but can you put a motoro in a 55?? for a bottom feeder?

for a couple months if its a new born pup. full grown it will need a 479 gallon tank 8' X 4' X 2'

yah man they can grow up to 36'' in diameter alone!!! that's not including their tails. my tank is just a grow out... lol.. i plan to sell my female to a guy who specializes in rays.

shes still small though, she will be kickin around for a while. not for very long though.

Can't say I've ever seen a 36" motoro... male or female. Usually males only get to about 16-20" maybe a little more from what I've seen, and females bigger but certainly not 36". Nonetheless, no way in a 55 except on the very short term, and I wouldn't try it with EBJD's because they are too aggressive, might pick on the ray, and will cause problems with handfeeding and feeding in general.

i agree

but i have seen a 36'' diameter motoro at Big Als close to down town Vancouver. it was in a 2000 gallon show tank with 3 other rays and a fly turtle. they have a theme at each store usually its a 4000 gallon shark tank..

make a thread in the stingray forum if u don't believe me...
