and 1 more question... where can I find a media bag?? there is plenty of space where my cartridges are (under the cartridge itself) to put a mdeia bag

As some one else mentioned, anaerobic bacteria can build up in pockets in the sand. If at any time while you were sifting through the sand you saw bubbles float to the top, that's it. However being that you sift it weekly (?) and there's barely a half inch, I wouldn't think that's it. Just thought I'd throw that out there..

I just thought it might look better with the wood.
I want the tank to look like a real habitat for the fish so any other suggestions on decor for the 55 will be gladly accepted
