Why you should keep GAR

yeah i know, they are both young so they can stay together for a little while and i am not sure if he is a spotted gar, the guy in the store was pretty convinced it was a crocidile, and he does look like the guys on this link, PM me with what you guys think, thanks :nilly:

no it's even worse when the gar is young. they are not good tankmates period. that being said i'm pretty convinced you have a fl/sp gar, crocs are extremely hard to come by

edit: just looked back and saw the pic, it's 100% florida/spotted gar.

Cool i am just as happy having a spotted as a crocodile, especially since i don't know anyone personally who owns a gar, i just wish stores would know what they were talking about:screwy: oh well i didn't even pay 10$ for him, and what do you mean they are not good tank mates? like community set up , he is with some oddballs but everyone sort of minds their own business
