NO THEY DON'T;
no they don't.

Thats like saying since I think George bush is dumb, so I think all of American is dumb?

No, it's not like that at all.

"I doubt very much that the private will live to see any courtroom or court martial. Same with the douche Assange."

They have both received death threats. I'm not suggesting they should be killed at all. It wouldn't surprise me though. And I'm fairly certain that the advice given to the douche Assange was to turn himself in because he will be safer in jail than hiding in a foxhole in the outback where he can be found and assasinated.

WL will be rebuild, where ever it can...considering the amount of caches already out...I would assume it would take less then an hour for a full take over.

Unless the US sets a precedence about sites like this, there is no real way to stop it.

And if the US does start to blacklist websites, what would stop them from turning it into another great firewall of china?

I'll be glad if it prevents bloodshed and mayhem.

So then the news shouldn't report about it either?

(I'm not saying any particular document should have been leaked and should have been kept up...I just believe as a society everyone will live a better life if they're not in-fear of what they're not being told by there repressive government)

Because you do not know of everything with the govt does not make it repressive.

And relating the screening of WL to what China does is retarded. We are not blocking people from seeing public information that everyone knows. They would be trying to protect their own internal and sensitive data. If you feel everything shoudl be open to the world then I guess you should be posting your SS #, bank accounts, email, passwords, ect. Both the govt and an individual share rights to have data be withheld.

Nope.

I prefer a repressive government, every day, to a repressive band of gangsters.

I'm for open information unless it causes danger to our people or our security, thought he was a jerk for endangering other peoples lives and believed his contacts need to be punished. After reading the repot on AOL I know think he should be charged with treason and terrorism.

From articule on AOL "Should Assange eventually find himself sentenced to a spell in the slammer, or put on a plane to the U.S., he would still have one trump card left to play. Stephens noted this weekend that thousands of Assange's supporters had downloaded a digital "thermonuclear device" -- an encrypted computer file containing all of the papers WikiLeaks has ever received, listing the names of spies, soldiers and sources.

If the open-government activist is jailed, or if any harm comes to him, the encryption code to that file would be released, unleashing a flood of damaging documents.
According to The Guardian, WikiLeaks currently has no plans to do that. "

I actually hate news of all kind. Plus you never know whats truth or lies. It's pretty stupid to blindly believe everything you see or hear, especially on a site called Wikileaks.
