These in the video look different then the crassipinnis I’ve seen. They look like ocellatus. The crassipinnis have spots on their chin don’t they?

Agree I think those in the vid are adults of the pics Jeff sent us (ocellatus)

Man I have an empty 20gal and 75 gal smh

DMD123 DMD123 I'm having second thoughts lol I'm thinking do I really want the Polys to compete with a pearsei and an Oscar for food. At least the pearsei won't touch meaty foods like tilapia

This is an area where I do have concern. I do believe a wild Oscar will have zero issue eating piles of tilapia. At least the pearsei as a vegetarian does not touch it. I have seen many of my fish have a preference for pellets. Hoping the oscars turn out that way
 
Great looking juvie O's! I'm also very interested to see what some of these wild varieties look like when mature.

Do they do this most of the time, looking up at the surface of the water? Juan did that as well, still does just not as much as when he was smaller. Spends more time chasing things now.
