The posse keeps making these claims but fails to support them with evidence. Don't blame me for your complex.

As for the umbees. Ask the SELLER. Geez! Come to think of it, why are buyers "teaming up" with sellers anyway? Isn't it in all our interests to be sceptical?

Not sure I think anyone is teaming up with anyone, all I can tell you is when I picked them up there had to be 50 boxes all from Columbia, as each fish was packed separately. It is possible some nut in Columbia is growing out 6" Umbees then selling them here as wild!

I would still love an answer to the Rapps umbee question that I posed earlier in this thread. I know that there are enough people out there who bought them at $150 a piece. Does anybody know where they were collected?

I think you can tell whether its wild caught or not base on its behavior.
Mine doesn't eat in front of me, always shy. Aquarium raised carpintis eat a lot, even feed off your hands.

The free swimming is my female - shes doing great, the male had his tail eaten off, I have him in a 40 Gallon breeder for a week medicating, & salting. Another week, & ill try to introduce him again.

nice, is this F0 or F1? Is this Vontehillo too? look pretty similar except body pearls are a bit smaller, but every fish varies even if they are caught in the same river.

How big are yours? Mine are just little guys at about 2 inches and already coloring up big time. Spunky too, I just put them in the tank and already eating like pigs.
