Pic I just took. They have been lip locking, digging in the gravel, and shes been doing her dance. I will pull the fry soon so they can do it again :D.

Her nose is scuffed from the locking...its getting better but still funky looking.

Wish I had the tank space for a pair like that, I'm jealous.
 
Did you say that your festae pair are in a 120gal? I have six juvies that I am currently growing out in a 120 until I get a single pair. How long could I keep a pair in a 120? Many people tell me that they will need at least a 220 or more.
 
They are in a 6' 120 right now...guy I got them from had them in this tank too. The male is 11-12" and the female is 8-9'. They still seem fine in it...but the males can get 16" or more so I might move them to a 180 or something thats 24" one day.
 
Good! well it looks like I can keep a pair in the 120 for a while. I still intend on getting a larger tank but its good to know that I'm starting them off in a good-sized tank. Thanks.
