:duh: a 55 is 48x12.5 inches long/wide right?

An ID shark can get up to like 36", and the recommended minimum for one is like 2000 gallons.

I don't even understand why they sell these things in fish stores.

Okay okay lol I understand now. I have heard of people keeping them in 55's. Would a 600 gallon 8 footer work? Hopefully?

I thought it was going to be a 500 gallon it just grew 100 gallons. Even with a 500 or 600 I wouldn't get the id there very active swimmers and need a lot of room to swim you gonna need more like a pond for one of these.

Ha lol

I am not the one who drew the plans but my friend and I are making a very large plywood tank still debating size.

ID sharks are certified tank busters, they are better in schools and therefore should be in some sort of a pond.
