Would These Fish Work in My 55 Gallon Show Tank?

I've only kept Ramshorn snails in a couple tanks but they need the same basic care that fish do. A tank that is cycled, some type of filter to move the water so it's not stagnant and to catch dirt, some live plants, good quality food and maybe a tank lid so they don't get out.
 
I've never used Snello before so I can't recommend using it. I've kept Anubias sp. 'Nana' and Guppy grass with no problems.
 
D deeda , Do I have to have live plants tho? I am going to use Kale, Spinach, and Pear baby food with calcium carbonate, vegetable gelatin, and some flake food mixed and frozen. Do you know a place where I can get Ramshorn?

If you go to any store that sells fish you have a decent chance at finding ramshorns or you can find them online for cheap along with cheap shipping. I believe aquaticarts.com has them

My recommendation is get rid of *all* of the dwarf gouramis and bump the number of pearl gourami up to 6, bump the neon to 6-8, maybe get rid of the endlers.
 
I’ve attempted to keep multiple male dwarf gouramis before and I ended up with 0, I would not recommend it...
 
I often give away free rams horns for food.

I’m sure if you posted locally someone would give you some free of charge
 
fishhead0103666 fishhead0103666 , I think I am going to not have dif Gourami’s. Maybe I’ll post on Craig’s list about snails, Niki_up Niki_up . I think I will have:

1 or 2 Dojo Loaches
5 Pearl Gouramis
(trynna find a replacement for the other Gourami’s, thinking a few 3” Rainbowfish species.)
5 Julii Cory Catfish
2 Starlight Bristlenose Plecos
13 Platys
7 Neon Black Tetras

In my 17 gallon, I was wondering if I could put Ramshorn, but with no light? Do they need an LED light if they are close to window? What about a heater? In summer, It is around 75-80 air temp all day. Could I wait and save up for a heater? Also thinking Of saving up and getting maybe some Mudskippers Or a dwarf puffer tank on my kitchen counter or something. Maybe 3. But I would like. To focus on one thing at a time. Have a great night (it is 10 P.M where I live).
