So, yeah... I think I might be coming back to the hobby. I've been out for 4 years and want to come back slowly. I still see the some of the old people I dealt with around here.

So I'm looking for a 40 gallon breeder/wide foot print. Preferably, I would want a complete set up including tank, glass tops, stand, light, and maybe even filter. I don't need anything fancy since this will be a grow out tank and will likely end up as a sump for an upgrade tank in the future.

I think PetCo is still running the $1/ gallon sale. Might be able to get the tank at least for a good buy.

True. I've actually sourced a couple of Petco's that still have the footprint that I want although it would be great if I can source a complete or semi complete set up (not including stand).
 
Does everyone's else's tanks from petco still made by aqueon?

Went in yest and some tanks had sloppy silicone put in and made me not get one. Looking for a 29 gallon for some fry and the 40 gallon is a breeder and I don't have space for it where I want to keep it.

Anyone know what brand petsmart use and if it's anyone good when they have the dollar per gallon tank?

I'm no rush to get a tank I have a huge tote just incase lol
 
Sometimes they are made by Aqueon, other times they have Tetra brand.

NOAH!! I know someone selling a 240 gallon! :) It's only 200 gallons more than the 40 breeder!
 
Kamusta pare? Been a while man... I bit the Petco deal. The 240 or bigger might be something I can do in the future. For now I'll stick to small tanks. I now have a tank but that's about it. Doing this slow and right though. Nice to hear from you man
