Put 2 of my 1 ft+ Mbu puffers in my (then 20") albino P. aethiopicus tank to accomplish some maintenance on the mbu's tank. The lungfish killed, crushed, and ate one of the mbu puffers during the 45 minute temporary housing.

Here's one you don't hear of every day...
I used the draw string on my swim trunks to dry out my Ammonia test vial, prior to testing my 150...
When the test developed to a DARK forest green in about 2 minutes, I had a major pannic attack, and needlessly did a 99% H20 change twice in a row.
You should have seen the look on my Aro's mug...
He knew I was wacked...

I guess it was partly my own fault for not looking closely at the store. When I got home and they were still in the bag, I noticed small white spots on them. I didn't have the heart to take them back, I wanted to rescue them and I did. They are all healthy now.

I would have done the same thing. I inspect my fish very thoroughly, but I too wouldn't have the heart to return them. I only asked because I use to be on the retail side, and I couldn't tell you how many people would blame their own neglect on fish they purchased from our stores. Not that I was blaming your situation on you, but I just like to vocalize that thought whenever I get the chance. Good for you for keeping them!

Perfectly understandable. I used to think that I wanted to work for a LFS but then I do see how some customers behave and what they say. I think I would get fired within a day lol. It's easy (cop out) for most ppl to blame LFS for their own mistake.
I was so anxious to get fish that I didn't bother to look carefully. But I have learned my lesson now
