My Africans love it so 1 for me.

They often show breeding activity after and they really shoot round the tank whilst it is happening and after

Any fish that I have has always loved it. Kinda like drinking beer warm----no water change vs. ice cold beer --water change. I do it every week 30% religiously. I think it is mandatory for long life. Just my opinion though.

My fish in the 240 tend to put some distance between themselves and the hose but overall not too stressed out. After I'm done they all tend to get extra active swimming around and inspecting every inch of the tank. In my 125 community tank all the angels crowd around the hose loving every minute of it...

Im on 2 lolz... most of my stock hates it especially the jardini but so far so good... I used to hate it when i had regualr sand but when I upgraded to a 3M black substrate its pretty cool substrate dont move around that much only the left over floats up and the filter sucks everything up . Water change about 10-25 percent depends on what i added to the tank such as water treatments etc. I just plug the drain hose to my FX5 then pump does the rest sucks all the water out then here comes the RO to fill her up then adding water conditioners to the sump etc .

went with a 4... it really stresses out some of my fish.. and others could care less. On the tanks w/ the more tweeky fish I take extra precautions to make it as stress-less as possible. Like moving fairly slow, pouring water in slowly as to not cause to much of a tornado in the tank ect. Neccisary Evil I always tell them  granted my tweeky fish are usually my newest fish, and they do seem to get better over time.

My fish love it they play in the hose when I am filling it back up and they don't hide when I siphon, they will eat immediatley afterwards also.

Whos voted for 10?

i voted 2

my piranhas act like frightened children when i do a water change (dashing all over the tank if the hose comes near them, staying on the other end of the tank etc) but they react the same way even to when i just put my hand in the tank so.....

anyway they always seem to really enjoy the fresh water after a water change.
