I think he will unless he can pick and choose his opponents. The top fighters are just too skilled for him to last for very long,as a big name money fighter anyhow. These guys are complete fighters and Brock is not.

Always knew and stated that Lesnar was a fraud. He was brought in as a gimmick to draw on pay per views. Once he was thrown in with true Heavyweights who were complete fighters he wouldn't last. Good Bye Brock......

I still wouldn't go as far as to call him a fraud. The man has a wrestling pedigree and I'm not referring to his WWF days. His background is amatuer wrestling where they don't learn to and practice kicks and punches.....

I agree...with so many talented and well rounded fighters in this field, championship belts get passed along very quickly with a few exceptions of course...like GSP, Spyder and hopefully Bones Jones.

......and,keep an eye on the awesome Cung Le.

I'm calling it now. AO is going to be the heavy weight champ. Allister will beat JDS. I don't know how long he will be champ but he will win against JDS. He is working on his cardio and I don't think there is 1 heavyweight who has met a striker of his caliber.

yea i wouldn't call him a fraud either. he was a real fighter, not the greatest by any stretch but a real fighter. i do agree that he got the vip treatment and got favored over many more deserving fighters to get the title shot in the first place but it's a business and money talks. he is a huge draw and brings fans from the wwe over to mma. he looks the part and he's actually a real practical guy to me. he knows he has the looks, he's got the drawing power and there's money to be made and he's gonna take advantage of that and get rich off of it. that along with his hunger to compete is a perfect combination for dollar signs for the ufc. and when he sees that he has made enough money, made his stamp in history and realizes he can't continue to compete at the top level, he chooses to walk away a rich man. more power to him, i can't hate on that

i'd love for overeem to be champ. i like both guys but i give the edge to junior. i think the longer the fight goes, the advantage goes to junior. his cardio and his hand speed will be the difference in this fight. of course AO's game plan, stradegy and even fight stance will be completely different going into the junior fight than it was in the lesnar fight but i think overeem's best chances to score a ko is in the early rounds. i think when it goes into the championship rounds junior will score the knock out.

no matter what happens, there are plenty of interesting matchups to be made with alistair. if he loses to jds, i can see him fighting cain for the #1 contender. overeem vs kongo, browne, mir,.............. i'd love to see him fight mir who have done a bit of trash talking about AO. he also said lesnar would easily win but we know how that went

Good to see Fedor back winning, but what a poor opponent. I can't believe Aoki couldn't finish Kitaoka, but they did train together forever. I was hoping for another crazy sub, but he just kept trying for RNC or neck crank. He may suck on the feet and may lose to good strikers, but he is still one of my favorite fighters and probably might favorite to watch...him and Barnett.

i saw highlights but didn't see the whole thing. yea, good to see fedor get another win to gain some more confidence.

aoki has a sick ground game. i think there are many fighters who fear his ground game. he's got the best rubber guard in mma. his resume is top notch also, one could argue that he's got a better resume at lightweight than bj penn

If you have HDNet, they're showing it again on Friday. The fights weren't really all that exciting though...very uncharacteristic for DREAM. The pro wrestling bouts were actually the most entertaining, IMO especially the one Saku was in even though it seemed to go on forever. It's quite a bit different than WWE and US sports entertainment.
