My tank has sprung a leak!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Damn Krich!
Sorry I don't have much experience with this - but at one time I had my car window guy (just a local windshield shop) come and actually give me a free advice session on what to do with my bulkheads of my acrylic tank. He would have done the job for me, if he had the right tools.
My opinion is safety first - I would call your local glass / auto window shop and explain the situation and ask them if they are willing to help.

Too bad I don't live close I would help out in a heart beat.....and I even have some time off work...does Strollo live close enough to help?

Thanks man.Strollo is in New York and I'm in Philly. He's all I would need as he could probably move the tank himself lol.

No,just tile that I've already started to remove..LOL Strollo!

WOW...keep us posted. As I was walking out the door to work, I noticed my water level about an inch lower. Same thing....maybe it's a Sandy thing? Anyway, my fish are in buckets with the filters rigged up. I have no help to get the 150g to the floor either. I get off in the AM and will have to get work. Good luck and keep us posted.

Will do Weener and sorry to hear about your troubles but good to see you posting again.

I wish I did, I'm about 2.5 hours away.

WUSS !
I can't even count how many times I have driven 3.5 - 4 hrs each way for various reasons. There & back home, same day.

I thought you were tougher.
