Polyuranadon Thread

I need some advice from the experienced polyuranadon keepers please.
A store has some polyuranadon for sale and i would love to get one or two.
Is it better to have more than only one of them ?
Will they be fine alone or are they going to get shy ?
I have a community tank with golden arowana, oskars, geophagus, clown loaches, bichirs.
Can i put the morrays in this tank or better not ?

I have had my Polyurandons for about 6-8 months now. Housed with clown loaches, geophagus, plecos, and a couple of African cichlids. Personally, the perspective here is that any fish that might consider it a worm like fish may attempt to swallow it. Depends on the size of your arowana, bichirs. I once had a 7" Endli bichir eat my 5" Albino Long Fin Senegal!
My aro is about 14 inches .
The bichirs are small reaching from 6 to 10 inches .
I could get the Polyuranadon with maybe 10 inches.
At first i was afraid that my bichirs get eaten from my other fishes but it worked well.
I dont know if my bichirs grow much faster than a palyuranodon.
I have endlis, weeksi,lapradei,delhezi.

Personally, I wouldn't put a $100+ eel in with that arowana. The eels are very thin at that size, could be an expensive feeder. Nice tank though, love the baby proof locks!
I think i will not buy them.
As you already said they could become a very expensive feeder.
I am a little sad because they are very rare in germany but
sometimes its not the right time to buy a fish.
The baby proove locks are a must have with 3 Kids ;-)

If u just got him just wait on it it may take a week for him to get settled in or longer. Try hikari carni pellets or broken up massivores. Sinking food is easier for them to eat but it's more fun to watch them eat floating sticks.
