Well there's nothing you can do about it now. At one point they had enough bb to cycle your tank. They're just a little to small imho to run a 200. Did you start on a wc?
Ive used a couple of different bacteria in a bottle and the only that worked for me was tetra safe start. Product worked every time i used it.
First thing you need to do is test your water do you have a liquid tet kit ? If not i suggest you purchase one. Dont trust the lfs to carry out the tests for you do it yourself.
Most important quesrions are whats in the tank ? And the size of the fish.
If you did lose your cycle i suggest using the safestart. Only issue is if your tank is over stocked with big fish even if theedia was cycled we dont know if the bacteria colony is large enough or has sufficient bio media to colonize.
Hold off on doing anything until you comfirm that you did infact lose the bb.
I just got off of the phone with Stephen. His dad washed all of his filter media including the bio and crashed the tank. Around half of his fish died. He's going to the store tomorrow to buy some prime so he can start performing large wc's everyday. He's going to use a double dosage of prime with each wc to help with the toxicity of the ammonia. Safe start would the best option if it works.

I talked to him about it, he tried to put the blame back onto me by saying I need to slow down and wash the filter out, instead of just changing the pads. At this point he's just going out of his way to teach me a lesson.
Sorry to hear that man. The last thing you need to do is wash out the filter and all of the media. The important thing right now is getting your aquarium cycled again. I would try the safe start like jaws suggested. Just remember to do lost of wc's and use double doses of prime.
Sorry jaws I was so focused on Stephen that I totally forgot to respond to you. Thanks btw! I wish I could take credit for him, but I just got him 2 days ago. I made a thread on him under Other Monster Fish if you wanna go check it out.

I use the eheim brand filter pads, but my dad is convinced that I killed the bacteria by not being as slow as I should with the filters. I tried explaining to him how he killed the bacteria, yet he said I killed them by not thoroughly washing them. My survivors are
3 - 3 inch Angels
1 - 6 inch Pleco
1 - 4 inch Spiny eel
1 - 5 inch Bala
