I'm not really too bothered about becoming big. Just toning a bit and becoming fit, unfortunately jogs are not fun in the current weather

pure hell is what it feels like lol. I used to do bag work when I was training muay thai and bjj. I can ride ten miles on a bike and run a mile right afterwards, 2-3 minutes on a bag and I want to strip naked right there in the gym and lay down lol.Perfect... wear a hoody dress like it 40° out and goto work on the bag. Tons or bag work outs on the net. When i moved in with my wife...then girl friend i gained like 35 lbs.. she cooks like no one ive ever met lol
Dropped it all and then some (2 kids later i probably gained it all back lol) and i attribute most of it to heavy bag work.
You can get a cheap round timer they are much better than stop watch since you can set the amount of rounds, length of rounds, and length of rest inbetween rounds. I would always end up cheating in the later rounds by taking longer breaks.
Start out with say 1 min rounds and progress to 2, 3, 4 what ever. But you would be surprised what 3 min on the bag feels like

dude its cool haha, derail all day man. I agree its a blessing you can do all of that after all those mishaps, so I can understand not wanting to be greedy haha.Lol man.... not to sound like a drama queen or derail your thread but bro i had rotator cuff surgery and it was a joke torn ligaments in my hands and right knee... still a joke but after i screwed my back up oh boy all i could think about was getting back into the gym man when i got desperate enough an opted for surgery and lifting didnt work out the depression was real bro. Shoot when i had kids i turned the basement into a gym man my son was hold dumb bells and playing with kettle bells before he could walk lol it was our thing together thats actually what got me back into the fish hobby i needed another way to connect with him.and have something that was "ours" after the recent hip surgery im just happy to be able to pick my daughter up feel like wanting more than that is greedy lol.
Im definitly gonna try getting back into awimming figure it will help scratch the itch..lol pitty party over

I used to do kettlebell work too...that's one of those exercises I'd find any excuse in the world not to do hahaha. those and hack squats are my two workouts I just hate doing lol.Shoot thats another thing kettle bells woo hooo snatches are brutal !!!!!!
