high grade super red with drop eye..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
beautiful fish! back in the days, people used to cover the sides of the tank and just leave a couple inches up top for a month or 2. Personally, it worked for me, but mine had a very minor DE. try it out.

It's a very nice red aro. There's nothing you can do to prevent drop eye, it could stay like it is now or get worse, you never know. For me i think would have waited for one I would be 100% happy with as it's a long term commitment maybe 20 years.

If you don't mind the drop eye then when this piece gets to adult it will for sure be amazing

Liked mentioned in the thread you can operate on the eye that has drop eye, I have seen many videos where they have cut above the eye to correct this, with alot of success but remember the people performing these operations have done it many times and people don't tend to put videos up of the operations that went wrong with the arrowanas just the ones that where a success, the arrowana is an amazing fish with or without small defects, I know how frustrating it can be to have your show fish not perfect, but if you decide to to the right thing and not put the fish through all the stress of operating on him, you will end up enjoying your amazing arrowana for what he is, with or without drop eye,,

Also I have tried using table tennis balls in the past and know many other people that have tried different things without success, how bright are your lights over the tank

so table tenis ball wont do anything?
the light not so bright to be honest.

10" is still young I heard of people say you can cure DE when small but I never seen it done. What do you feed your SR aro?
crickets, ghost shrimp, and minnows..
if fixing the de is nearly impossible then i just hope it wont get any worse thats all i can do now
