looks platnium to me except in the pics where he looks yellow. also I take it you meant 5-6"
Do you think they are the same fish? The yellow colored photos does fit 5"-6" but the platinum photos doesn't look that small. Looks bigger. o_O

Yes I meant 5-6"
I believe both are the same fish. The better pictures are taken with a quality camera, the more yellow pictures were taken with a camera phone. That is what I am lead to believe anyway.
It's prices at £100. Is that about right?
Tempted to buy but will be unable to return it or get me money back if it turns out not to be platinum.
Votes are 3 to 2 against at the minute :-/

Platinum Senegal appears to becoming common. Or.... the lower grade platinum is just easier to get nowadays. Not sure how these are marketed. Grading system by color and sheen?

I've heard 2 places who had plat Senegal sold for under $100 usd. Are the farms simply getting better at producing leucistic (black eyes) Senegal nowadays? I don't know.

Few years ago, I paid $100 or less for 3" platinum Senegal. 6" was probably $150. A vendor was selling a bunch of them. The prices got jacked up recently.

Well I can tell you the better quality photo is a platinum Senegal. I cannot say the same about the yellow picture though, I see the little dots present on a normal Senegal across it's back.

Here is my old platinum Senegal for a reference.

Not 100% accurate but seem as if these 3" plat Senegal from 2013-2016 were selling around $300-$400+
