IMG_3087.JPG Repairing my forever vacuum. Bucket with in a bucket and a return to the sump. When I vacuume i pick everything up including sand.
 
Electric blue acara. I have about 200 of them. If you have a pair they'll breed like convicts. lol nice fish though, mine never bothered the other fish they just get a little territorial while they are spawning

I have only read about them. I was in Albuqerque today, just browsing. Long story short I bought them. I think I have two males though. What an amazng fish!

I bought four and kept them together till they paired. It was hard for me to tell sex ,till they got little larger. The only way I could tell was the basic way you tell sex most of the time when the fish are so similar. Females are thicker more rounded. Males thinner with longer more pointed dorsal and anal fins.

Hopefully I have a pair. I couldn't tell the difference so I took one big and one small. That looks like a fun fish to breed. Are they good parents?
