What ones were they krich? If it was some of your tropicals and it was only a few nights then they should still be okay. They will lose there leaves because of it so just bring them in and cut back the watering till new leaves start to pop but the tree itself should still be fine. I actually like to leave my tropicals out until right after the first frost. I feel it helps to make the tree itself more hardy. Mine have only been inside now for about 2 -2 1/3 weeks now.

I have a dwarf Persian Lime that I keep indoors during the cooler months. I guess you could consider it a large bonsai.

You know it's getting into the dead of winter in Michigan when it's 1am and you are working on your bonsai trees because it's been months since you had to bring them all inside.

Here's a little photo progression of this ficus bonsai I have been working on for the past 4 years now.

Pic#1 2014- as I bought it. Lots wrong with it such as too tall, no lower branches, dreaded S-curve, inverted taper.

Pic#2- Fall 2014- Trunk chopped it down to just a 3" base and have a sprout of new growth

Pic#3 Spring 2017- Lots of new growth was just thinned out and waiting for more back budding.

Pic #4 Jan 17th 2018- Pruned some more and starting to wire branches. Starting to take a shape and look like something now.
