I feed my Leichardti Ocean free SA-G1 Pellets
He's very healthy and happy on them...

My aro 5" inches does not eat hikari food sticks. I put it every day and remove after 2 mins. It gulps it then spits it out. Im on live guppies. Need help.

So the first thing you need to do is make him hungry. If you feed live he will get spoiled on it. I took my Arow straight from store to hikari gold baby pellets. He spit them out for four days. He got hungry on day day Four and now he loves them. I also got hikari food sticks the other day and he spits them out after eating one. But he will eat the hikari gold baby pellets all day. I was not sure if Arowana even ate pellets but my 6" Arowana got hungry and now he does.

Most fish can go a week or more without food. Don't give in. They won't starve themselves to death, unless they are sick.

Try top feeding carnivore sticks(hikari) or tetra cichlid crisps. My silver wouldn’t eat anything other than blood worms until I tried the crisps and the hikari. Now he eats everything that hits the water no matter what it is. My Pbass wouldn’t eat anything other than live until I got the hikari sticks. Great food for picky eaters if you ask me

Ok day one,
Ignores the floating stick but when I break it in two and it drowns it gulps then again spits.
I stopped feeding live fish.
Have you broke your Arowana yet? If so let me how you did.

It started eating pellets thanks a lot adictd2fsh. After a week almost it started eating finally. On the fifth day i bought it fav dead fish, smashed them, soaked the pellets in the mash and fed it. Now finally it has started eating pellets. Again ths a lot

Arowana will eat pellets eventually. Also bare in mind that arowana are very finicky fish. It is possible if moved from one place to another they won't eat anything at all for a couple days simply because they are moody. Sometimes just putting them in there everyday at the same time and waiting to see if he eats them, then scooping them out again so as not to dirty the tank is what it takes to get them to eat. Eventually he will adjust to his new home and will eat when you put the pellets in because he is hungry and you were consistent. I had one fish with a similar personality go 5 days without eating anything. But by putting food in everyday at the same time, on the 6th day he ate the pellets and has been on them ever since.
