150 Gallon Stocking

Only had a retic Ray so far, hopefully I would say minimum 6’x3’ to start 8’ x 4’ ideal. I would say get rid of arowana and don’t get a Ray until you got a large enough tank. Man people say they will get a larger tank and it never happens

I would say go for the black ghost knife. Just bought one about 4-5” and couldn’t be happier. They’re little weirdos but are really cool and can be interactive once settled in. I currently have him in with my bichir crew.

I own a 7 inchee by he simply does not want to come out unless the lights are off
 
Alright I thought about getting rid of the aro and the BGK and I have decided on this.

I am going to make the tank around the aro and the BGK...

Also what are the dimensions of a standard 150?

Can I get a 150 that is not 6ft and is wider and maybe higher? Are there any at petco, petsmart, or online?

No I want to listen...

But I am still under my parents roof and my dad likes the aro the most out of all the other fish...

I will keep trying to get him to let me sell it. :/
 
Alright so after some talking my dad has decided that he doesn't want the fish to be cramped or hurt as he hates that...

He has agreed to let me sell the fish if I keep the BGK...

The 150 will be centered around the BGK


Also anyone know of any cheap 150s ?

I will not pay over $200 for a glass tank. I will be looking for used but I am considering acrylic

I really do want to keep the aro but will not since it gets so large
