polypterus delhezi and xenostomys nigri together?

It has mostly only the really common ones and some more special fish if someone ordered them and never picked them up. So its kinda bad but they can Special order some fish. They also like to put fish tank sizes really big for even smaller fish.

so i might be able to get those two? that is Excellent but how fast do the Knife's Grow? I have heard that Delhezi's are one of the slower growing bichirs.

Extremely slowly. I'm talking 1.5cm in a year maybe, I don't feed as much as others but my senegals doubled in size in the time it took my knives to just grow a bit. However you can get nice thick ones from the shops that will be fine with polys :)

well that might be a problem as they probably need to be special ordered.

Why not ornate? What other polys go well with ornate?

They Told me that they didn't have a Delhesi but they had a Delhezi lol but they also had Senegals. could i do a Del with a Sen? would i need more than 2 bichirs? Would they most likely not fight or would they likely fight i only get to know their genders after i have them or at the pet store.
 
Two polys should be okay, maybe the odd scuffle but generally polypterus are okay with one another. Just make sure they're big enough to not eat each other and you should be fine :)
