He seems to think it ok. But subbing the Piebold for the “red flank”
 
Getting there,

got three fish in , two Synodontis and Bristlenose.

got the 2 species of Victorians coming week after Christmas with marbled syno and albino bristle nose.

gonna get three more of the smaller fake holey rock.... I dunno , got break it up a little...

Got the hospital / overflow for problem fish / baby tankready for any issues in the main tank.

know they are fake.... dang holey rock so pricey...

I think I may do another one of these in the other 75, with those granite rocks with holes in them and the black/mix Cichlid sand....

Update :

Sadly had a Piebold jumped, since covered the gaps....I suppose it was one of the four males, maybe less bickering...

Debating adding more of this formed Petco holey rock.

What’s the opinion? More = better or too cluttered?

Maybe experiment moving the rocks around. Laying some pieces on its side, in such a way as to hide the base from view. Make the hardscape more random. Perfect imperfection.
Its easier said than done. Lol.
