Uh, im afraid i'll need a new plan.
Sadly, i have no space for aquarium bigger than 20 gallons, and the damn tank is supposed to house endler guppies. The plan is, that i will move guppies and every other living being living with them out of their present tank, move them into the bigger one, and the leftover aquarium will be housing pea puffers. And I need a fish that will eat these guppies. Now i have no preferences, all i need is a fish that will thrive in guppy aquarium, and eat the fry (or the adults). Maybe some sort of gourami?

A gourami could work, a school of golden wonder killifish could do the job, a dwarf pike cichlid would absolutely eat the guppies (but it might get a bit big for a 20 at 4-5 inches), a crayfish could eat guppies, too.

I really like the idea of wonder killifish, but how many could i fit in there? And if gouramis could work, which ones could i fit in there?

In a 20 gallon you could fit 6-8 golden wonder killifish. Just make sure you have a lid and a lot of plant cover for them as they like to jump

You'd be better asking in the arowana section because I'm in the USA and asian arowanas are illegal here so I have no firsthand experience with them

I don’t think any of the killifish or non-cichlid are qualified to be mini monster. They may have the predator look, but lack the attitude of a monster fish which must be interactive, bold and outgoing.

Many convict species are interactive. Africans tend to be shy except for Mbuna and jewel cichlid. In one ACA convention I went to, I spot a 4 inch fire mouth attacking glass. It turned out the same fish had won multiple fish show award, and you can find it in YouTube.

Actually they'd be better off not asking that question again and not getting an arowana. But you are correct not the right place to ask that.
