I ran a 100K race 4 weeks ago, and I have a 100 mile race in 4 weeks. 2020 was a was a wash due to Covid.
How do you even prepare for those type of distances running? When I used to do up to 150km rides on my bike (not now, i'm going back a few years) I used to build up my distances slowly. Regular five hours in the saddle, then six hours, gradually building up to around the seven hour mark. Long long hours, and that's cycling which is way quicker than running. I imagine you'd have to set aside huge blocks of training time to build up to your distances?
