Well I'm certainly not rehoming all my fish that's absurd it would help if my first post was actually read accurately for starters and second off i did my research thank you an it clearly states that bichirs and cichlids especially convicts and black bumblebee cichlids which are a variant of the bumblebee cichlid can temporarily be housed in a 55G successfully when at a young age also seeing as ASB are slow growing and the fact black bumblebee cichlids max out at 6.3 inches and mine are only 2 inches at most and convicts average max size is 3.5 inches is say my 2 convicts are at the peak, and finally thank you all for the info and advice on gourami/goldfish question which is the only thing I required in this post was that answer not a witch hunt into my setups, water parameters or my tank size or species 🤦‍♂️
Your first post was unclear which is why two different people had questions which they only asked to offer the best help they could. Not to undermine your knowledge, you jumped to that conclusion yourself as no one questioned your knowledge. So why so defensive? And why specifically at me when I asked some of the same questions SalviniCichlidFan did?

You only used common names, I expressed my knowledge of all of your fish's common names vs their scientific names except I stated I couldn't for sure know about the Black Bumblebee cichlid as several cichlids use that common name. Your action as whole have come off as angry at being questioned when all anybody had was the intention to help you. Where did I indicate you as a noob? Because I asked questions for clarification so I could understand and offer the best advice? You asked a question acknowledging that you felt others on here may know more and be able to help you and then get offended when I try to help? In each case you offered info. I asked for more to help, how is that condescending? Did I question your knowledge on the species? No, so what's your issue?

Sir I did not speak to you condescendingly, the issue is yours not mine but to avoid offending you I will not post in your threads further as that was not my intention. I do suggest that you try to not be so easily offended though as it doesn't help you in anyway and may lead to unnecessary conflicts. I am sorry you felt offended and offer my apologies.

Important information and logical question which "bumblebee cichlid" you're talking about, considering all bets would be off if it was butterikoferi!. :nilly:
That's what I was thinking too which is why I kept asking.

It all came off condescending at the part where you said seeing as you seem to have missed it part, other then that you had some good advice

The main an most important question I had was the gourami/goldfish question as that was important to get the gourami out of harms way now seeing as two confirmed that goldfish/gourami is not a safe replacement method I will most definitely transfer some cycled water from my already cycled tanks and fill half a 30 gallon as a temp home for the gouramis and go from there

Again, my apologies as I thought you genuinely missed it because you posted
I hope I've supplied enough info to determine if its possible to house my two "chill" "doesn't bother any fish" gouramis with my goldfish temporarily to prevent any further injury from the cichlids .....
After we answered it so I thought you missed it and my question about the Black Bumblebee cichlids. It wasn't my intention to be condescending just referencing back and reiterating. I guess I'm also sorry for asking about the Black Bumblee cichlids as I thought you were asking about all the fish not just temporarily housing the Goldfish and Gourami's.

I'm starting to see there was a misunderstanding on both sides, please forgive my rudeness

No worries, I'm glad we're on better terms now and the misunderstanding has been cleared up. Good luck with your fish, hope to see you post and share more often.
