100 gallon stocking list

Just my opinion but I have kept Oscars in 75 gallon tanks with no problem, 100 gallons is more the enough for a single Oscar and school of Silver Dollar. Just remember to keep up with maintenance and good filtration.

Really? I used to use Silver Dollars to get my shy cichlids to come out of their cave and stop hiding. I know that Bala Sharks can be skittish, but have never owned SDs that were skittish, especially when grouped with 4 or more.

For me a school of 5, and the tank in the living room, they would bolt whenever someone walked in front of the tank, causing the other fish to bolt.

The smaller the shoal and the smaller the tank, the more jumpy they become.
I have 19 in a 7x2x2 hardly jumpy at all.
Put them in a 100 gallon with a large Oscar and in small numbers, I recon they will be skittish.

I am running two canister filters on the tank, I will be doing water changes weekly to ensure I keep on top of the maintenance.
Any particular plecos or catfish you would recommend with an Oscar?
