Very likely as the Oscar grows. In the Congo tetras, how likely are they to be eaten by an Oscar?
No the silver dollars are like 3-4inches i just didnt finish my basement the oscars are juveniles though theyre 4-5inchesSo the fish are all juveniles at the moment.
If this is the case it's a little premature to give advice on your situation.
A lot can change when fish reach adult sizes.
Still not adults then.No the silver dollars are like 3-4inches i just didnt finish my basement the oscars are juveniles though theyre 4-5inches
Wow, that is unfortunate for you. I never had that problem, as a matter of fact I always use Silver Dollars or Tinfoil Barbs to get my cichlids out of their caves. For me a school of 5, and the tank in the living room, they would bolt whenever someone walked in front of the tank, causing the other fish to bolt.
Yeah I agree the more in a group the more confident they are.The smaller the shoal and the smaller the tank, the more jumpy they become.
I have 19 in a 7x2x2 hardly jumpy at all.
Put them in a 100 gallon with a large Oscar and in small numbers, I recon they will be skittish.
