That's looking good! I'm going to be hand building a custom 32"x16"x16" tank with one of the best tank builders in the country. For only $35

Going to put my efforts and saving into that
Acrylic or glass?

$35?! My 16g was over $100!

Glass. 6mm clear float glass, yours is probably higher grade, I just need to buy the glass and silicone. The guy wants me to build it with him

Quote is $35 for the glass

Go for acrylic. It really exaggerates the clarity of the water. It looks like the fish are floating through the air; the only thing that gives away that the tank is full of water is the plant debris and water line.

too expensive, clear float glass is decent. This tank will take me some time to set up though, no hurry

Looks good!!!

I think as long as they are getting fed properly they should start breeding given parameters are stable and temperatures not too high (which in England shouldn't be a problem)...

If you still find them not breeding after say a month or more, then i would maybe consider adding a small clump of moss or something for the young shrimp to feel comfortable and maybe help the adults feel like breeding...

Sacrilege! I'm in Scotland ;)

Really cool video mate :D

Video editing skills are on point, the wood and plants look great
Thanks :)

Literally took a time lapse and halved the speed, added a before on after then added music on youtube lol. I've also added some small crypts and ludwigia repens "rubin" to the tank. Hopefully my polys don't uproot it all

Also rescaped my 8 gallon. Added wood, more rocks, osmocote root tabs, java ferns and some anubiass nana :)
