You guys should probably spend some time looking at his set ups, and his fish, before embarrassing yourselves further.

Yes, lovely tanks but irrelevant to the conversation.
I just don't see how is this fish as long as half my leg. I'd love to see the jug measured at least...

I appreciate seeing a nice loach like this and I would love for it to be 18 inch, I'll shut my mouth then. I promise.

But even on the picture from above, when the loach is next to the jug, I still can't see an 18 inch loach. It looks like one of mine, and mine haven't passed 10 inch, lol...I know that looking fish from above is very deceiving though...I am just saying and I am with redshark1 on this...ruler But please, do not stress the poor loach caching him, just to prove a point to us doubtful souls

With that water jug being 10.7 inches tall, if nothing else this should end the debate about clown loaches exceeding 12". Lol

Which jug? Is it that difficult to get measurements of the actual jug on the picture? I've got all types of jugs at home....

The claim is that this loach is 18 inch.....

Might be easier to go by the thickness of the styrofoam. It should be standardized thickness such as 3/4" or 1" or measure the thickness...

Everytime a thread pops up regarding size of fish people.always argue. I really don't get why this is worth arguing about.

It's a monster loach and it's not like the op is trying to prove anything.

Vincent: That aquarium and collection of fish and turtles is the best I've ever seen. Its a great achievement and I don't doubt it takes somebody special to achieve it.This is why I came to Monsterfishkeepers to see this stunning quality and of course for that amazing 18 inch Clown Loach too. It's a whole different level here man and its exceeding my expectations beyond my imagination.
