It's been two weeks since last update, it's now closing 12", but, the growth rate slow down remarkably.

probably because i dont feed feeders at all.
and my not constant water changes.

btw,ive heard that some of the "congicus" that recently came into the market here in singapore have actually grown up to look exactly like congicus.
none look like yours at all.

Maybe it's not due to you don't feed feeders. Among the same batch of the X, some still stuck at 7", while mine is 12" the longest (most of us here feed feeders). If you still remember those 1st breed of endlicheri X bichir bichir looks really like PBB. There's possibility that endlicheri X congicus might look like congicus.

but isnt it possible that if you feed feeders your fish do grow faster?
a friend of mine and i have been discussing about these congicus that have been showing up lately.
he talked to the indo farms and they told him that they are PURE congicus.

Herrghh?? Really? And, the LFS sold it as a hybrid? There are two batch imported here, the former batch (my one) looks more like congicus, and the later batch looks closer to endlicheri. However, none of them look exactly like a congicus. I don't know what's going on there, the things are getting harder when there started cross breeding.

As for feeding feeders, yes, the type of food do affect the growth rate, that's why I said "maybe".
