If I did have kids, they would want to join the military because they would see it as a reprieve compared to how strict I would be.

If and when you do have kids.... im gonna remember tou said this....lol lets see

yea, I get it, now we are splitting hairs, but you DO see my point, no?

To be honest bro no i dont agree. Im not faulting the gators, they are doing what evolution has enabled them to do.

I do fault disney 100% if a resort i stayed at in a 3rd world country can do this so should they. I tell ya what no way would i stay at a resort where rigjt outside my room there is access to a lagoon that may have gators in it....no way in hell not with young kids, things happen in a second. You turn to look at one kid and the other is sotting on a gators head no way bro...but i bet disney fisgured this too

check PMs, Bro

I'm sorry, there is no way this is 100% on Disney.

I don't need a second sign after the "No Swimming" sign. I don't need to know why I'm not to set a toe nor finger in the water. And I grew up in an area with no dangerous freshwater predators like gators, no cottonmouths or anything like that. Nothing dangerous. No Swimming still meant you do not go in the water at all.

That first link about the mother letting her child wade "despite" the No Swimming signs just plain pissed me off. Congrats, your child survived your stupidity. The second child did not.

The parents do not get a pass on this one. You might be able to say Disney deserves some of the blame, but the majority is on the parents.

How ya holdin' up there, Borg? You still beat up from the accident or at least getting better?
Still practicing using the walker for a few minutes a day. My arms get a workout when I swing forward. Still not sure why I get a pain below the knee. I'm thinking it's not accident related.

The father was injured trying to save the kid...pretty elaborate scam.

This is like saying if you visit nyc and get murdered by a couple of gangbangers because you were out in tribecca after hrs its your fault
I mean...when I lived in Pittsburgh I knew not to go to Homestead or Oakland after like 12 PM, so in reality its not your fault the crimes there, but it is your fault for wondering into it.

I thought I had it bad when i ran across the road and got knocked over by a bakkie (pickup) at 3 years old and on holiday.
It may have been negligent of disney not to put signs up about alligators. but what does the sign say? DON'T SWIM! what did they do? THEY WENT TO SWIM. there are reasons for signs that say no swimming: private land, vulnerable ecology, polluted water ,dangerous animals????
In south africa we have plenty of crocs and sharks. Whites are present all over but most live in the tropical east coast. crocs live in the warm areas, its common knowledge.

Disney may have a little liability for having no warnings up or fencing but the parents are responsible, if the water was toxic and the child was sick afterwards is it still disneys fault? in the end i think both parties were at wrong here, parents more so
