I have 2 friends that keep fish, but I don't get to see them all that much. My family is not into fish at all, with the exception of my 3 year old daughter. She seems to have my fasination with the fish, I am sure she will be into them as she gets older.
Am I the only one?

i dont have any friends nor family to talk "fish" with. so its a little lonely sometimes lol..

I am pretty much alone, mates think I am nuts, Fiance tolerates it.... right up untill i dug "THE HOLE" in the back yard more the pond!! LOL. I have however got a brother in law that is pretty keen on getting a tank but his wife says no way..... I have come up with the plan of giving him my 90gal when I upgrade Bwhahah......
Mum got me into fish though, she had some big tanks when she was younger and set up one when we were kids, my first tank was her old tank that would be 30+ years old!!!

:0 I don't know anyone who keeps fish either, it woud be nice to have someone to share this wonderful hobby with that doesn't look at you like your a nutcase every time you fondly speak of your goldfish. :3
My family dotn and never will understand why i enjoy fih and the things i say bout what my fish ate or what they fought will nebver interest them ever liek ti does me my sisters call me a loser but i have a friend who loves fish too so its cool.
I guess my friends are the exception or they just like having tanks too. Since I got my 29, 4 of my friends in my apartment complex have gotten tanks, and one of my friends from back home. One 55 gallon one 46 bow and a 10 gallon nemo tank for his little girls lol complete with "nemo" goldfish, because that's all they call them is nemo...it gets old
Right on!from what i have been told, before i can remember my great grandmother had about 10 55 gallons in one room, and all she did was raise pleco's and breed fancy tail guppy's. She had them for about 30 years to, she had my uncles take them down tho so i never saw them, my mom and dad also had a 55 gallon that my great grams gave them, figures it had one pleco and about 200 fancy tails. My one buddy tho, when he comes over he will watch the tank a lot and ask questions, before he made fun of me non stop, but i think a few more weeks i can get him to buy one. i should him the lungfish at my lfs and he wanted it.
