this really pi**es me off. I have an idea, since China is soooo overpopulated, why dont the feed the pedophiles and hard core criminals to the lions.. now that i would laugh at, instead of some poor animal that never stood a chance. or the lady who was taunting the lion with a chicken and laughed when it tore the frightened bird apart.. 
what the hell is wrong with these ppl? i know there are cultural differences, but damn this is just inhumane and cruel.

This honestly doesnt suprise me as China has a long long history and a bad reputation when it comes to cruelty of animals. I know not all chiense people are like that etc. but Chinda has a pretty bad track record. That is just disgusting and I hope one day something will happen to them to make them realize that is sick and twisted to do that. I can understand feeding live animals to something if it needed food that bad but to do it for entertainment purposes is dumb, obviously not educational and where the ... do they think that its supporting or showing CONSERVATION>?????? I would LOVE to know where they get that from with the way they keep and treat things. It will bite them in the arse one day.
As for the comments to fish keeping- Not all fish keepers feed their fish live food. Also when feeding live food the majority of us are not doing it for entertainment. Some people feed fish becuase thats all their fish will eat that is a natural predator prey realtionship, however lion eating goat for entertainment is not natural. Yes them eating food is, but not in the way the do it for entertainment. Entertainment is the big difference between fish keepers feeding live food and zoos feeding animals for the fun of it.

Not all zoos feed lions live food. No difference to fish keepers. Look at tthe armatus videos getting posted, it takes 1 minute average for the "Extra large goldfish" to be eaten, thats not for entertainment? Large goldfish cost just as much as 2 mediums which equal the size of the large usually. Goats are similar to impala and other small gazzelle or antelope species, which the lion predates on.
The article says they do it for fun, if you didn't notice the that article happened to be Bias against the zoo, so naturally they are writing it from their point of veiw to get people to hate it. Seems to be working very well..

What do you mean? I'm posting my annoyance at peoples assumptions right now. Isn't that enough?

Yea, sorry about that. But from what i'm seeing here its the majority.
