Well, no luck with any eggs...

But, I got a new batch of discus eggs in a 55 not in the fishroom... I'm not sure of the experience of the pair so I'm going to let them do their thing. They are in a bare bottom 55 with some planted driftwood.. its a medium sized batch. If the batch doesnt work out the parents will be moved into the system shortly thereafter.
So, I've learned now to separate the angels from the eggs once fertilized by the male.. I will, in the future, do so and add an airstrip to the tank. My research with the angels has been controversial, some saying keep the parents with the eggs some saying remove. I will try the later next time.
We also started sanding the new stand and cleaning the tanks for the second system, but there is still much work to be done...
