Black EBJD? Or a Hybrid?

I am on all things dempsey as well. I tried to post the same facts that you have posted. Many people have just ignored it. Black would be another cool new morph IF we could get it started, but I do not see it hapening any time soon.

It's basically just opinion on what morph would be cool or not. Some people may prefer a black morph over a regular one. I'm not saying their is a black morph, but I think it would be cool. A new morph couldn't hurt though.

2 of my BG females turn jet black when there are fry in the tank. I think that they look awsome when they are dark like that. That is the reason that I THINK a black morph would be cool.They would almost always be black like that .

Looks like a blue jack. They get much darker over a dark substrate. They change colour a lot on their mood, dominace, age etc.

I would definately be interested in an update. I have been sticking with my theory that the blue dempsey with more black spots and coloration are healthier and show better conformation (have the body shape of a standard dempsey).
