Cool Cichlid for 55 gallon tank?

Started the decoration have a small piece of DW in it and some fake plants and some live till they start to get ripped out, going to make some rocks and decorations soon, got an Electric blue JD but he is in the hospital tank (rubbermaid container)for a bit just to make sure all the ich is gone from the big tank. tried pics but you cant see him in any of them, will get some when he is in the tank!!!
 
How about if i did not get the pictus cat and got a needlefish instead, ive had one before and it was quite neat it was with a 7inch oscar (sold to a friend)
 
Ok ill nix the needlefish and go with my origional plan
 
Well it would have to be 1x blue jack dempsey, 1x firemouth, 1x convict, 1x pictus cat,
 
I might bw going to the LFS today to pick up the dempsey and firemouth and then the con and pictus next week!!
 
Whaaaaaaaat?!? NO Green Terror? I guarantee you'll be much happier with a GT than a EBJD (boring fish) but oh well, live and learn I guess. :)
