does the law stop any of you from buying the fish that you want? it wouldnt stop me, cops arent going to come in your house and look at your fish and be smart enough to know which ones are legal or not.

dude its not like regular cops do this, its wildlife people, and they do know what the difference is. I would probably do it right now because im a stupid teenager, but when i have a real life and job to worry about, i owuld be mnore careful
o ya and since im only 16 if i got caught with an asian arowana what would happen. would my parents get busted for it?

hmmmmmmmm do i smell probable cause to get some search warrents?

MUHAAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!

naw i'm no copper:grinno:

what i really don't understand is that with a fish like an asian aro, how the U.S has banned them for being an endangerd speices, yet so many other countries do not.

I say, if you're going to break the law, go all out. Drink and drive, do drugs, kill people. Otherwise, behave yourself. You won't get far with a cavalier attitude.

I'd say most of the imported fish banned in the US are fish that are not native to our ecosystem, rather than endangered.

go into some place to get a job and they see you have a record they ask what you did you say oh well i had a fish that wasnt kosher in this state.i bet you would get hired anyway.

i think no one but Parks and Wildlife gives a hoot.

Depends on the job. Mine requires PRP background checks, full screen urinalysis, and psych profiling because I handle radiologicals. Just a traffic ticket is enough to get your dossier red-flagged for impromptu re-evaluations.

A mate gave me convicts and I later found out that convicts are illegal in my state (stupid South Australia), but I kept them anyway. They were both fairly old and one was missing its left eye, and she died with in a few months. The second one went stong until about 2 weeks ago when my GTs started to hook up and the stubborn little con wouldn't back down, now shes dead, I guess GTs are tougher.

I want Aros but their illegal so I will get a saratoga instead, why have illegals if there a fish that look as good that you can't get in trouble for.

Ohh if you ran the police department and you knew you were looking for illegal fish would you find cops that knew about them to be in the team. Im thinking of becoming a cop does that mean I will no longer be able to tell the difference between a RBP and pacu
