was there today discussing HR669, Ottocinclus, Walking Catfish, and the likes when a woman with scars on her face and a curled up bandage on her chin interrupts and goes "I have a BLUE TONGUED SKINK!" and plops pictures of him on the counter. we started talking about him, (me, her, and the manager) and then she walks away. she wasnt a bad keeper or anything but i found her kinda weird. LOL
she said she walks him on a leash through the school she teaches at...lol

I got some but not really stories, more things that piss me off lol
Ive had like 15 customers the last 5 days ask me for a goldfish in a bowl, then they go on about how they have done it before, i ask them "how long did you have it living for", most of them say 1 week - 1 month -.-. I also had a customer come in and ask for a goldfish in a bowl, but she wanted 2, the bowl she pointed out was about a litre -.-, then i went through the process for the 16th time in that week how they cant properly survive in that enviroment. I think i might do a tag up for goldfish in bowls since it peeves me off so much lol
I also hate Chicklids, Syklids, Cichlits. Sorry just had to add that along with my rant lol

Irritating story
At my local store there is a middle aged man that is a little slow working for them. He seems to be a nice guy but not quite all there. I bought a fish from them one time, and the poor guy went through at least 10 rubber bands trying to seal the bag the fish was in. Not only that, 10 rubber bands took 10 minutes.(not a real fast mover). Then next time i decided to buy a fish there, sure enough, he was working. I wasn't about to ask him any questions about fish, i just told him what i wanted. What seemed like an hour had gone by, and he couldnt seem to catch the fish. I was about to freak out just watching him struggle and miss time and time again. After he finally decided to go get help, i just asked him if i could go ahead and try while he was getting help. I of course caught the fish i wanted immediately and bagged it. When help got over to me, the lady asked "which one do you want" i told her i had already caught it. She yelled at me. "Don't you know we can get fired for that". Understandable, but yelling at a customer, a buying customer? It irritated me a bit. "so i took a dump in their trash can" just kidding!

You got yelled at for netting your own fish? And you're a regular there? That's crazy!
I net my own fish all the time! Even in shops I haven't been to before I ask because I prefer to net my own. Seems like I can get the fish quicker and with less banging around the tank than the employees. Also, I'm guaranteed to get the fish I want!
