If someone ever said that to me, they would be unconscious on the floor w/ a broken face. I hate people like that.

Customer: Heck no, That's a massive tank, About 12,000 gallons.
Me: * Slowly puts fish back*
Customer: WHAT ARE YOU DOING IDIOT?
Me: Sorry, that tank is WAY to small, no where even near 12,000 gallons
Customer: Shut up kid, your just a kid what would you know?
Me:I know that a 4x2x2 is 120 gallon, and that you should leave right now.

wow for real? If i was ever spoken to like that i would hit em, i wouldnt care if i lost my job in all honesty
 
Not exactly a LFS. But my very first experience with a fish tank is when I was about 7 years old. My aunt was getting rid of a 30 gal tank. I have always wanted a fish tank badly, so my parents decided to let me have them.

My dad being himself, he usually get carried away with everything he try to help me with. He set the tank up to be like tropical tank, even spend hours setting up undergravel filter, get the temperature right for tropical fish, etc...

Then when the day come to stock the tank with fish. Guess what happened? My dad won't let me get anything beside feeder gold fish ugh!

Fortunately we moved after about two months and my dad got rid of the fish because we didnt know if we were able to keep the fish tank. But a couple months late, I finally decided to fill the tank with water and use my grandma to help me get all infos and all other things I need. Finally my grandma gave me a bit money and one day I just suddenly show up home with a couple bags of tropical fish. That's how I got started in aquarium.

Thats nothin. At the LFS I work at, a guy came in once and asked my friend for 500 feeder rosys.
 
He was 13.99 at petco and his name is Adino.

Does anybody else stalk their LFS? Like go there just to look around for fun lol. This place called Ocean BLue, down the street from me, I've been there like 6 times lol and only ever bought something once...and it was $2 worth of prefilter sponges ahah

They must think I'm a little loopy or something
