lolI actually have a good report. A new Petco opened up a few miles from my house. They don't sell any crazy large fish, the tags for CAE and Goldfish are correct, and everything is alive. The Turtles are in a large tank, the reptiles look fed, and they were selling some items that i have never seen sold before. Although the prices were kinda high.
That's good. My petSmart is kinda crappy, but my cousins (in chicago) is actually pretty good. They had a decent selection, although the pacu were labeled as 30g fish. They had that dollar per gallon sale going on and they had a 125g. I had $150 in my pocket! But my mom said she wasn't driving 6 hours with it in the car and if I bought it she would throw it away.

yeah there was probably a catch. When I went to pick up my 75g I told my mom it was a little bigger then my 20 long. My God, if you heard her...
For christmas, I gave my sister my old 5g hex. Well, it was established already so we went to petSmart today (The LFS is kinda far, so we thought we'd give petSmart another shot). Well, my sister was looking at the fish and the woman asked what she wanted. My sister hadn't decided yet. The man next to us said that oscars were a really cool fish, but we told him we had a 5g, and he agreed with us that that is way to small for an oscar. Then the woman said, "Yeah, oscars need at least 20 gallons" Then I said no, they need about 75g. The man agreed with me. The woman laughed. By now, my sister decided on two mollies she liked, so the woman scooped them out. Only problem was she scooped two male platys. I told her they were the wrong fish and she said "Which ones are mollies again?" I pointed them out and she scooped them up. She scooped a diseased fish and a male molly. I told her the fish was diseased and she THREW IT AWAY! IT WAS STILL ALIVE! My sister asked for a male and a female. It took the woman 3 tries to get a female... Possibly one of the stupidest people I ever met.
