thanks guys I've decided to just buy a 50 gallon filter and put it in the 20 with babies because ill be able to use my friends filter carterages. once I've done that how long should i wait to replace it?

They are starting to look like adult fish! For me, this is the most exciting part of raising fry. Hope they get some of that RQ's good looks.

How do I tell who's the dominant one in the babies tank

The bullies will usually be the biggest ones. As they grow and you have less room, the dominant ones will pick on the smaller, weaker ones...survival of the fittest.
