The tank is filled up and running!
And it 100% dead silent, completely silent in overflow, sump and pump. Only thing that makes any occasional noise is the random flow generators on the output the sometimes such in some air but that's just a small tweak to bend them in the right angle. I'm flabbergasted that I got it right. I'm usually very good in theory but lack the practical skill to make is 100% in use.
The temp is 26.6C/80F without heater but this will change when I lower the temp in the room and add the cold water drip so I'll add 3 x 200w heaters.
This weekend some mbuna fry will populate the tank to see if everything's safe and try to fix the lighting from reef setting to fw setting.

The glass is 15mm and bottom is 19mm IIRC, so what's that 5/8 and 3/4 bottom?
Yes that's the imperial equivalent. There's a pilkington (makes optiwhite) supplier near me and I was thinking about trying to source my low iron glass there.
I might've missed it but what kind of pump are you using? It's hard to find one that is "dead silent". My dc pumps are what I call "virtually silent" which is still an audible background hum.
My tank is 31.5” High so 5/8 Should be enough for that at least.
I'm using Vectra L2 placed on a tile on top of a piece of sponge. I'll listen more closely to see if there is any hum I didn't hear before but I couldn't hear anything.
