well now that they day is done i have done 3 types of fishing first i fished lake MI nothing, so then later i went and fished for steelhead at the river again nothing. So then i went out back fishing i caught some small chubs in the creek then i walked to a small private pond where i fished I caught two bluegill then i tied on a rattle trap hopeing to catch some crappie , but only managed to catch three bass . Which of corse i took pics of then imediatly released. I dont have time to post pics now but maybe tomorrow or later tonight. they were all keeper sized i would say 1, 1 pounder and the others were both 2+ pounds.

yes thats been a very good one for me ive been using it like the past 3 years. I tend to only get lots of fish on it during the spring tho

I think its cause that noise mixed with clear water and the fact they isnt many small bait fish around and when "prime time" comes they cant take that fast moving small shad/or whatever bait fish they think it is.

well the funny thing is there is lots of small fish i even snagged a small 1.5 inch bluegill casting around that rattle trap. With out much cover last years baby ares easy targets thats y they are keyed in on small fast moving stuff rather then larger baits. Crayfish are also moving around and they also dont have much cover so thats why jigs are good this time of year as well. I caught that first bass when i was snagged on some scum i ripped it real hard and wham she ingalufed it. I caught all them fish about 2-3 feet from shore, they apeared to all be females unless they were really fat males.

I only fished today for 30 minutes.

I didnt plan on doing any fishing today but i stopped on the way to get some feeders. Todays high was only 44 on top of heavy wind, i wasnt with it.
